About Lucy Jayne.
My name is Lucy Jayne and I'm a freelance makeup artist based in Kent. My work encompasses many fields including Fashion, Portrait/Beauty, and a bespoke Bridal Service.
I trained at the prestigious London College of Fashion, specialising in Cosmetic Makeup, Bridal and Promotional Makeup and have also studied at local colleges learning various beauty therapies. My expertise incorporates the latest beauty trends and my makeup kit contains only the highest quality branded products such as Bobbi Brown, Benefit and Mac (I am a Mac pro member).
I have always had a love of portrait painting, proportion and colour and have had fun experimenting with makeup. I realised that it was not only something I was inspired by; it was something I wanted to turn into a career.
One of the most important things I have learnt is that makeup is not a mask to hide behind, but should be used to bring out your best features to reveal your natural beauty.
